Yangon Arrival

You will arrive to Yangon airport and be welcomed by our journey staff and you will depart for Kyaikhtiyo one of the most prestigious pagodas of Myanmar. Arrive to Kimun base camp. Board on an open truck for 11 km steep and dirt road leads to the upper staging point of Yathetaung camp.

Continue walk up to the renowned Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda site. As an easier alternative to walking, four porters at an extra cost can carry you in a specially made sedan chair.

The rock is completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of the cliff.

Climb up to the summit by open truck.

Observe the magnificence view of the entire plain from this important pilgrimage site.

Overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

Kyaikhtiyoo-Yangon

Breakfast at hotel and depart for Yangon. Visit Chaukhtetgyi Pagoda and as well as shopping at the Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market (closed on every Monday & public holidays!!). In the evening , enjoy the breathtaking sunset from Botahtuaung pagoda which are very special pagoda since there’s Buddha’s hair inside these pagodas.

Departure

After breakfast at hotel, we will transfer you to Yangon airport for your departure flight and conclude this wonderful travelling experience.
